Braided

I love braids. I love them for weddings, days at the beach, bars with friends, or Sunday morning breakfasts. Braids are definitely my go-to hair style when I wake up late and don't have time for a curler or flat iron but don't want to look like a complete mess the entire day.

On an unrelated note, my weekend was fabulous. The weather in San Fransisco was beautiful and I and came home from the game with a sunburn!

How was your weekend?

Love, Julie

I'm the same way about braids. Totally my go to hair style when I'm short on time, but want to look nice. =)

  9. Me too! I added a few mini versions into my updo for my wedding and it made it soooo much more relaxed, cute, unqiue, etc. I'm glad they're coming back.

This weekend we stayed in - lots of spring showers. But it's 80 and beautiful today!!

  19. These are beautiful, and I love braids too. Too bad I just chopped off 4 inches on saturday. You should do a tutorial on how you fix up your braids. Not sure I really know how to do any of those braids myself.

    Happy Monday Julie!!!

  20. i really need to visit SF! we always go to san diego but spend all our time with family, so there's usually no excuse to go sight seeing :/ someday i will! and seriously.. these photos are making me wish i had long hair just so i can do a pretty braid! i do little side ones and tuck behind my ear, but they suck because i have no patience or arm muscles to do a nice french braid. i actually just did my first french braid last week, turned out pretty good. but my arms hurt... i need to work out more. wow, that wasn't rambling at all! lol i think i need to stop reading blogs and eat something...
