Balcony Dreams

One of the best parts about my apartment is that it has a perfect little balcony looking over a grassy area outside of my apartment. The problem is, we almost never use it. Now that it is getting warmer I want to spice it up and use it more! Here are some things I know would motivate us to spend more time outside.

My dream balcony includes:

1. Boxwoods
2. Lots of Mossy Pots
3. A bright colored patio set
4. Mercury glass lanterns
5. A tiny succulent garden

  1. I pretty much love anything that hangs from a balcony - lanterns, candles, flowers etc. These all look great!

  9. Yes, that C&B patio set would motivate me alright! I hate our balcony in this apartment. It looks directly at a brick wall, gets hardly any sunlight and is so open to the other 18 apartments in this building that it's not much fun to be out there. It's sad. I went out this morning to drink my coffee and write my blog post, but it smelled like tar, and there was so much noise :( I'm a debbie downer, wow.

However, we just put an offer in on a house that has a terrific backyard and a screened in patio area!

  15. What an adorable patio set! I'd love a little balcony, although I've also enjoyed the roof "deck" a former roommate and I re-purposed!
