We just added two big and beautiful peony plants to our deck! They had buds when we bought them, which opened to beautiful creamy flowers. Now, the true test is if we can get them to bloom more.... ;)
Peonies are my favorite. They just popped up a little a head of season at the flower stand down the street, so I'm in heaven! So lovely.
oh YES...I am totally a peony addict...so excited that they are budding right now! I am also a David Austin Rose fan now...like peonies, but bloom all summer :)

I was just talking about peonies with someone else and how I wanted them in my wedding bouquet. My wedding was in August though so they weren't in season. But that's cool, because garden roses are just as awesome and that's exactly what I used! I loved them SO much!
