I am leaving for a three-week trip to these two gorgeous locations in a few weeks and I am beyond excited. Has anyone been? Anything I should know?

My employer and his wife went to Greece a few years ago and LOVED the country. He said that all the buildings are "white washed" pretty often, so everything looks clean and sparkly. I think you'll have an amazing time. :)
wow I am so so so jealous. My parents went a few years ago without me and I hope to go someday! No clue what's best but enjoy the food and the sun!

I went when I was still in high school & I remember to not ask random street vendors how much things were in Turkey. They completely swarmed us & we couldn't get out. For some reason at the time, we started running to get away from them all and they chased us! It was pretty intense, but funny now that I look back on it.

I've always wanted to go to Turkey. Greece is amazing! Husband and I went to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini for our honeymoon. Definitely don't skip Athens. It's great eating out in the Plakas late at night and watching movies on rooftops. We rented a moped in Mykonos and an ATV in Santorini and cruised around the islands, and it was the best way to go. You will have an amazing time!
Been to Greece twice, the food is amazing!
